Hey All,

I was wondering if any of you out there could help me out? I took my Prowler into Massey Yardley (Hobe Sound, FL) Chrysler to get my front control arms replaced/refinished. The car has been there nearly 30 days and I still don't have it back. I am unsure of when I will get it back. This job should have taken a Maximum of 1 day.
The root of the problem is the District Service Manager Mike Diaz. Mike Diaz is a stickler when it comes to getting any service done on my Prowler. It is like pulling teeth with this guy. I am also having trouble or no response, in getting my gray bumpers replaced because of the defective spots. Mike the Service Manager at Massey Yardley is not helping the situation either.
I think Chrysler needs to educated their service people in providing "5 star" customer service to the high-end fleet of vehicles. You don't get this service at the Lexus or BMW dealer. I am not asking Chrysler to rebuild my car. I would expect them to fix my vehicles obvious problems in a timely and professional manner. If any one can help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Brian,
Your first mistake was taking your car to Massey. Everyone I have spoke to has been disgusted with their service. One friend of mine talked to the regional rep from Chrysler, and he told him, off the record, that he should never bring his car there for service. I think Maroone in Coconut Creek might be a better bet.

Maroone is way to far away. It would be over an hour with traffic. The 2 dealer in my area are Ed Morse and Massey Yardley. They both suck!

Look at it this way...had you made two trips(drop off & pick up) to the other dealer(a total of approximately 4 hours) you could have been enjoying your prowler for the last 29 days!!!!! Small price to pay in my opinion. I drive 50 miles each way, thru lots of traffic in los angeles, just to get my oil changed from a dealer I know takes care of the car. I pass by about 10 Chrysler dealers to go to the one I trust, including one two miles from my house that is owned by Chrysler. I have had several warranty items replaced while I waited.....one time they even drove me over to the Chrysler Parts Depot for me to pick out which replacement part I wanted on my car as the tech didn't like the original replacement part sent to him!
You may want to rethink how far the good dealer really is and whether it is worth the drive! Just my opinion.....

Sam,

It's the same as mine!

Ontario JCP in Ontario, California.
Kirk Irvine is the service manager and John Shakarian is the Prowler tech.

I've had nothing but excellent service from these guys and everyone that I've sent there has been extremely happy with them. They also offer a 15% discount to ProwlerOnline people. Ask for Jesus Deleo the parts manager for your discount.

I cannot say my guys offer a POA discount, but I shall ASK them and see! Anyhow, they are right in Valencia here, Valencia Chrysler, and Kavork, the service tech, is EXCELANT and the service people seem to truly care, so far (we shall see what happens with the cracked orange!)

It is true, not all Chrysler dealerships are created (or run) equal.

Heck, I know of an Orlando guy that went to Jacksonville to get his engine work done on his Kat. That is about 150 miles one way.

I second the point, find a dealership (prowler tech) you trust..take care of him, and he will take care of you. Your car is worth the extra effort.

I again offer you to check out my dealership in Orlando (email me) or call the S. Florida folks to see who they use and are happy with down there.

We are all here to help each other, since we seem to know more than some dealerships.

Joe, I couldn't agree more. I live in southern Arizona and I've decided I am going to become a customer of Larry Lord's Ontario Ca. dealer. Good people are hard to find in any profession. And we are driving a special car.

I agree with Joe. Tip the tech & the service manager First
and remind them to take good care of your Kat. It's a good
investment, if you make them feel good, they'll make you
feel good!

I get along great with the Prowler Tech (Jim Bradley) and all of the service People. It is just the District Service Manager Mike Diaz. Doesn't any one have any pull to see what this guys deal is?

Packard - Where in Arizona do you live? Email me if you would, as the Az group has periodic cruises, and some may be coming to your area in the future. Thanks

Spoons,
I would become the squeaky wheel. Call the dealership EVERY day, if not twice a day until they finish. At the same time, start calling the regional manager and or higher up and start telling your story. There is NO excuse they could come up with to cover this up. If need be, start threatening, NO PROMISING a lawsuit. That usually ruffles some feathers.

good luck,
JP

Spoons......

Have you tried calling the national Chrysler Customer Service number for help??? Have you contacted the dealer principal? Unfortunately, making threats and promising lawsuits usually only illicits negative responses and forces a defensive attitude!
