Sal, Borla Industries National sales manager, asked me if I would notify all eight of the Prowler owners of Borla decision to reslove a problem that should never have occured.
Please take a look at the email (attached) that was sent to Kat-sas (Gary) and discussed with me.
Sal asked that I contact all eight buyers and give them his email address so that he can get the necessary ifnormation needed to make sure that they are shipped the correct tailpipes. In addition for those that returned the goods plese contact him so that he can discuss what you all want to do.
I do not post on this board very often, I don't have a lot to say, but I do read all topics. In this case I thought it was necessary for me to involve myself and help any way I could. (I really like this site).

I believed that once Borla understood what had happended they would step up, it took little of my time to explain, a few links to our site to let them see what POA was all about, and the rest is history. My hats off to them.
Note: not knowing if all eight buyers are members any sugguestions on how I might contact them to advise of the resolve?

Thanks. Dan...

Subject: RE: E-BAY BORLA SYS. FOR PROWLER
Gary, hold on to it, I was just in the process getting in touch with Dan Garcia and after some more thought, I understood how you guys must have felt. I am sure this will be acceptable to you and the rest of the prowler clan that purchased these. I will send out the tailpipes NO CHARGE with-out the tips, you can use the tips that came with the kit. I will send these out No Charge and shipping NC, But it will take at least three weeks before I can produce these. If you and the rest of the people can wait on the production of these tailpipes then we should be okay. I do want to make it clear that it will be at LEAST THREE WEEKS before we can even produce these tailpipes. I will be in contact with Dan to let him know also.

Thanks,
Borla Performance Industries

I got my replacement tail pipes today from Borla, but won't be able to put them on for at least a couple of weeks. Has anyone else received them yet? Do they fit?

KarolinaKat, Don - Dusty sounded good before this install,,,you mean it now sounds better? On 11-11-01, the Az clan did the South Mountain Breakfast/Cruise. In your honor, we are thinking of naming it the DandyDon/South Mountain Annual Cruise. Any objections? Can you trailer Dusty back once a year for the event?

RBADCAT - thanks for your input on this topic. Post more often, your thoughts are welcomed.

I am glad to hear that eveyone is getting the correct exhasut. I received my last week while I was gone. I have since did the install and as Karolinakat said, it went on like a glove. I put on the tips that came with the set, but have on order the carbon fiber tips.
Alley Cat, thanks for the kind words, I have done nothing more than any other prowler memeber would have done if they had been this close to Borla. In fact I have gotten to know them a lot better, they are a fine bunch and there product reflects it. I want to say thaks to Sal, the Sales manager, once he understood what happened he made it right.
Alley Cat, I was in Green Valley , Arizona all of last week playing golf and spent a day in Scottdale, the next time Iam that way I will give you a call. Thanks for the kind words.
Kat-sas, (Gary) good to here from you, good luck on your install.

Dandy Don - Sure I can promise good weather,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just like the Grand Canyon Tour 2000 event!!!

What about the Rocky Mountain High event in June, 2002? If you can make that one, I can shame afew other Az owners into going along to see you. And promise great weather and cruising events......... We all miss Dusty!

RBADCAT - Scottsdale,,,,,,,,and you didn't tell us you were coming? Next time give me a shout.

Got my replacement pipes from Borla today. Thank you Dan for all your efforts and a big "Thank you" to Sal at Borla for taking care of the problem and Dennis at Borla for the great follow-up. Will install them this weekend. Looks like it will fit perfectly.

Kudos to Borla. I had my pipes installed today at the local Midas shop for $70.00 + tax. Everything went well and was well worth the wait for a great deal. Thanks for all who helped encourage Borla to correct a problem.
