I have added 53 more ppictures which Wayne Wagner, Wagner Media, took of the first visit to Mike's Prowler Museum. They are in the Event Scrapebook section. Added to the bottom of that page.

Also there is a first time ever picture of AlleyCat's Curator Office!! Ya gotta love it!!

The delay in getting out the commerative panoramic picture is that the photo guy's, Michael Hoenow, wife decided to have their first baby and he has been out until the 15th of this month. We'll get it done when he returns..

I gotta tell you.....

At my advancing age, ah traveling is not the best thing for my old tired bones. While a trip to the land of barbeque is far more appealing then a visit to Gary "C" in the land of milk and snow, it just ain't easy for me to get around like I used to.

Anyway, those pictures were the best I have ever seen as they were of people and not so many cars. I hate to say it but, other than some superficial differences, most Prowlers look somewhat the same and an opportunity to meet some of the people through photos was real exciting. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see the cars and, particularly in the museum, but a chance to put names with faces is really something!

Some of those boys were really sporting some nice squashers and that tells me that the barbeque must sure be goooood in the Houston area. I sure do hanker for some of the finger licking good vittles from down that way.

Anyway, just a quick note to let you know them there pictures was the best ever and you should keep up all of the hard work. It ain't easy to take and then label them but I sure do appreciate seeing all of them folks that have been ah reading my posts for all of these years.

I gotta run as it is Saturday and it is time for my Bosco and then a quick five mile run on the beach followed by a rigorous iron pumping session for an hour or two. Dew Bun is ah hollering that it is time to get moving and I know that if I get her riled I won’t get my fresh blueberry pan-da-cakes tomorrow.

Later,

The Old Man

Your pictures are nice, but some kid kept getting in the way of most of them. (Kidding)

This is exactly what most pictures need. It is nice to see some of our Prowler friends and family. Seeing the same old cars over and over isn't much. Putting a person or a few in the picture not only makes it interesting but also gives the size and position of things a real perspective. We all need to take a hint on how to make our pictures more interesting.

Nice job! (Oh, btw, ditto to what Scott said),

Jim Clayton

Fred:
I 100% agree with the previous posts that the captions are great.
I just joined POA in June and haven't attended an event YET, so it helps to match faces and names.
Thanks for taking the time to share these pixs with us!

Fred - that is just a picture of the Curator's office sink,,,,where I comb my doo every day before starting work. I'll get a photo of my exclusive office setting, and get it sent to you for posting.

BTW - what is that young man doing in my office? He got my autograph twice! Probably going to sell it on eBay!
