If you could put your 10 favorite 'cruisin' songs' on a CD for Prowlin' Pleasure, what songs would they be?

Bob,
I have one of the best CD's!
Starts with "Born to be wild",
some beach boys, others... But Bill Cosby
talking about Fat Albert's first car is great!
Listen to it all the time... Thanks... Very nice touch
to our cruise.

I actually have 5 80 min CDs that I burned - each different for different driving situations and moods. I'll give you a few songs from each so as not to make another monstrous post.

1) Hard Rock - Great for highways if no cops are around.
- Rollin - Limp Bizkit (my official Prowler song)
- Forever - Kid Rock
- American Woman - Lenny Kravitz
- Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
- Love Rollercoaster - Chili Peppers
- I Wanna Be Sedated - Ramones

2) Mellow
- Cruisin - Huey Lewis
- Fly Me to the Moon - Sinatra
- Mack the Knife - Bobby Darin
- Don't Know Why - Norah Jones
- Brandy - Looking Glass
- Swinging on a Star - Sinatra

3) Guilty Pleasues - Fun songs that are cool (that don't really fit in the other CDs) and songs you don't admit you like
- Low Rider - War
- Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing - Chrios Isaak
- Tall Cool One - Robert Plant
- ABC - Jackson 5
- I Want You to Want Me - Cheap Trick

4) Coast - Great for cruises on 80 degree days along the coast
- Apeman - Kinks
- Montego Bay - Amazulu
- Guava Jelly - Ka'au Crater Boys
- Jammin - Marley
- Angel - Shaggy
- Escape (Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes

5) Pimpin - Great for city cruisin
- P.I.M.P. - 50 Cent
- Holidae In - Snoop Dogg & Ludacris

My tradition for the first song in any new car it to play Radar Love by Golden Earring. Great night crusin' song. Also always keep the cd changer filled with Aerosmith and Mellencamp. Can't go wrong there.
