Some of you know about my intermittent non starting problem. That problem was traced to the Paxton Controller. Replaced that two days ago. At the same time made a adjustment on the serpentine belt tensioner to keep it from hitting the AC belt and throwing it off. Got that accomplished to. Except now I remember two years ago the compressor was bad on the car and never used the AC until now. So I have a compressor coming that should be here Tuesday and will put that in before I go, as I'm sure I will want AC at sometime on the trip there and back, plus the crusin.

The big issue is while fooling with the car I was under it and noticed one of the Street Glow 51" tubes (Gold Series) is broken. I can get another from them, but in ten days, which does me no good to take to Woodward. They said I could get them from a dealer, but none around here stock replacement tubes.

Anyone in their area have known Street Glow dealer who has parts, and can ship overnight?
I need a turquoise long tube, Gold Series.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW everyone I talk to says don't drive the car to Detroit, too far, yada, yada, yada.
The car runs good now, although I'm not getting 11lbs of boost as yet, but I can live with that for now. I have the tall gears back in, and working on the water bottle to the rear tires next.

Thanks again, but don't go to alot of effort, I can live without one light, lol.

This is how the car looked three days ago, so I will be doing good to get it there in one piece

I will put the AC compressor on Tuesday or Wednesday, and call it good.

I really cant't wait, Patty and have not been on a large event in a long time.

Patty and I are getting jazzed as it gets closer.
I'm figuring out and fixing minor issues each day with the car. It's running like a highway cruiser now, with the stock gears in it. Can't seem to get 10 lbs of boost out of it yet with the gears, but with the headers, tranny work, and some other secret stuff it's good to go. Will put the AC compressor on Wed probably. Couple of test runs, then may head out Friday to meet Dean for some other secret stuff,,

Marc, the car is just washed that's all. I wanted to spend a day to fit all the panels again but don't have the time so don't look to close people. This car has been torn down frequently in the last two months, but it was worth it to me. The car is looking good, and I am sure there will many other Kats to drool over, so it's going to be fun. Plus,,all the friends, both new and old, we are really looking forward to it.

I will have the infamous chrome grill from Advanced on the car, with the fix the Scott's sons did for me, and it's looking sharp now. For those who don't know, Scott's sons, Eric and Mike have a very cool, very unique Custom shop called Curtis Customs in San Jose where they build some very cool one of a kind Rods.
