We had Jim & LORAINNE Robertson(JimR), Mickey (idive),Rich Diamond (RADCAT RICH),Steve & Connie Taylor,Fred &Debi Henkle (Prwlyn),Michael & Cathy Williams, Andrew Williams,Johnny & Faye Colunga(in his sweet saleen), Tom Randall(Tlr),Ron Holter (NEWBIE) There was more junk on the highway and village idiots on the road than ROADKILL! Thanks very much for setting this up Jim! You too Wayne, if you had anything to do with it. We missed you. And thanks to everyone else that was there. I had a great time! Am I the only one that drove under that flock of birds on the way back? Geez!! 3 on the hood and 1 on the decklid. Hey - Did anyone else have a bunch of something liquid all over the back end of their car or was I blowing transmission fluid all over? <=== serious question here. My weekender was covered with something when I got home. I didn't see it all day so it must have come from after lunch. |

Rich, As Tom said before me "Great Pictures". Faye and I had a great time and it was nice to see old friends and meet new ones. Then to top it off, to find out that the guy standing next to you, is the one who bought your PROWLER what a Ca-winka-dink. The next time you guys do this, let us know because we would love to join our PROWLER friends. Who knows maybe OLD MAN ARTHUR might get off his couch and see if his PROWLER will start and come have some fun with us. Ron great looking black PROWLER you bought there, take care of her. I did for 5 years and I've meet a lot of great PROWLER friends because of her. Johnny&Faye |

Mickey, One of those birds got me too, on the trunk area. But no liquid stuff on my car. Nothing but BUGS! Had to go straight to the car wash to get the BUGS off. |

What weather and Sun....Sunblock was required....This was a great day to cruise the roads. It did start off littered with debris, The trash on the roads was incredible. Let me recap, Three plastics lawn chairs or what was left of them, One roll of carpet across one lane, some one's laundry I would say at least a weeks worth across two lanes. Let's not forget the driving hazards, A grey pickup using a cell phone that tried, I do believe to sideswipe each Kat that passed. The crazy driver the decided to change highways at the last minute and nearly take out Tom Randall hair raising event that was. We had not seen each other for so long we had a lot of catching up to do.. The day was great, so good we did not finished the complete cruise. But I belive we all had fun. I am so tired this morning I need a day to recover from this event. I am thinking of doing another run May. Anyone interested. This time maybe Galveston/Kemah/Ferry. Jim. |

Jim, thanks for the great event! It was nice to spend the extra time at the stops chatting with the group and catching up on the Prowler Gossip! I think we could have sat at the Sam Houston site another hour or two talking and no one would have noticed! The obstacle course was pretty fun! Did you set that up too? That was the first time I think I have ever seen so many close calls on people wrecking into our cars! Mickey, I didn't see anything from my car when I wiped her down last night, but I was pooped, so I didn't look under it. Are you sure it wasn't from all my wax and tire dressing flying off my car? I was glad so many folks showed up, I'm ready for the next one! ------------------ |

Mickey, what color was the stuff on your weekender? due tothe air flow w/ the wkender on, it probably was carbon from your exhaust ? Are you leaking from your tran.cooler hose ? I was tired too, lots of SUN ! Job well done. Nasty Cat, Thanks! This message has been edited by RADCAT RICH on 04-10-2006 at 08:56 AM |

The liquid on my weekender didn't seem to have any color. I used a blue microfiber towel to wipe it off. It just got wet, didn't show any color. It might have been too little to show much color on the towel. Tranny fluid would be hard to discern on the purple weekender. Whatever it was kinda beaded up like it had an oil base. Was all over the whole front of the weekender (the side facing rearward that you see), and all over the bottom and framework. I didn't notice any on the top. Didn't see any on the pipes. Yes, I have been leaking (slowly) transmission fluid from my top cooler hose for a while now, but it just drips out and runs down over the cover. This is a first for kind of "spraying something upward" like this. |

put in some chevron cleaner into the gas tank, i bet it was carbon/residue due to non use, and at the speeds we were running at a bit, i bet thats what it was. |
