Not quite two years ago, I was asked by a number of the owners on this site if I would plan an event for the 10th Anniversary of Prowler. I promised I would do that and had high hopes that I would be able to involve DC in those plans. Since that time, a number of things have changed. I am now combining the anniversary celebration with the annual Woodward Dream Cruise event that I've been doing for quite a few years.

As you all know, DC is going through some rough times right now. We are working hard on ideas for a DC-sponsored anniversary celebration. I am hoping that we will be successful. We have something very specific in mind that we'd like DC to do for us...Plan A......it's a long shot.....but we're going to take our best shot. If that doesn't come to fruition, we do have a back up Plan B for DC. I will say that if we can get DC to agree to Plan A.......it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all those who are planning to attend and would make this anniversary most memorable!!!

I'm a bit disappointed that I couldn't make this a week long event........there are so many things I would have liked to have done for the anniversary and Dream Cruise. However, the masses have spoken and I'll work with the time I have. That being said.........

1) If I can manage to have a DC sponsored celebration, I am guessing that it would have to take place on Thursday or Friday. Most likely on Thursday, as they are also busy setting up on Friday for Dream Cruise. If they choose Thursday, I hope that everyone will be able to be in town Wednesday evening. Otherwise, they will miss the anniversary celebration.

2) The majority has opted for the four day event. However, if anyone would like to arrive earlier in the week, I'd be happy to have some other activities available that we could enjoy, including the nightly cruisin' on Woodward. The hotel has guaranteed me the same room rate for the entire week. Please let me know when you sign up when you will be arriving.

3) I was really hoping that we would have a large presence for the Prowler 10th Anniversary celebration. If you are at all sitting on the fence about this event, I would encourage you to attend. It is important that I know as soon as possible in order to present numbers to DC for planning purposes. Looking forward to seeing all of you here!!

4) I would also like to know if all of you are interested in having the 3rd Annual Go Kart Championship at Kart-2-Kart this year?

Looking forward to be there this year for my 3rd Anniversary.
Planning to arrive on Wednesday late afternoon so if the DC
event is on Thursday that would be great.

WOW...DEFINITELY...CJ!

I'd like a rematch with A/C and TUIB!

I'll do what I can to make it. It does sound like a great time even though DC may not have the interest or the funds to make this a spectacular event.

Heck...that's the least I can do is to drive my 97 out for the big Prowler birthday party.
