Has anyone cut the front mud guards one inch so they do not drag on speed bumps or uneven surface ? How it work for you if have ? I am concerned about breaking fender brackets for mud guards. Live in the northeast some bad roads. Thanks

This has been discussed many times and some cut(I did)and some don't. If you can also rotate the fenders forward a little. Make sure you don't over tighten the nuts and use blue locktite.

Hope this helps

cut off about 1 inch to inch and a 1/4 will do it.you cannot rotate the fdr.to get more ground clearence only back and forth.i do not recommend moving them forward since it wil make the studs for the flaps closer to the tire, which means it has a much greater chance of being ripped off if the stud hits the tire.
