I picked up Austin a.k.a. Waldo on 11-21 from Scotty in southern Ill. on my way to the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona. We visited with the Florida Kat pack in Daytona, then we moved onto Boca Raton, and then to Key West. I pasted him onto Tom Miles in Palm City on the 12-06, where he will spent this winter, as last winter he spent it in Seattle.

Below are some of the pictures from our little adventure.
Starting in the rain and ending in the sun.

Looks like my kind of adventure there Rick. Sounds like you and Waldo had a blast. I'd love to make it down to Key West some day in the Prowler (Hint Hint DQMan). Battery cover looks great in my cat.

Great post Rick. I am glad to see Waldo is getting from one end of the country to the other. I hope this tradition goes on for many years and I am around to read about it.
It sounds like Rick is getting around pretty well, also. I should try to be more like him, I hardly ever get out anymore.
Thanks for posting, excellent pictures.

Do we have a single post that chronicles the travels of the POA mascot? If not, we need to put one together.

Steve, that is a great idea. I had it for awhile. I think I got it in Houston but don't remember who I got it from or who I gave it to. I realize I am absolutely no help but I am pointing out it might be hard to recreate the travels accurately. I do like the idea, and hopefully others can fill in all the blanks.

there was some early tracking efforts...the subject has come up before
I think we had it all the way to Marvin, and bringing it forward from there should be easy enough!

Am glad Austin was located. Joyce & I were worried about him. We ran across his cousin, whoops, a few days ago. His name was Run Flat. Tends to hang around the low rider clubs.
