Hiya Catfish -

Since you asked for new owners - got my purple '99 in June; I know you've seen some of my posts as I work my way through the standard Prowler issues (window regulator, blown speakers, now waiting for a WonderBar from Larry).

Just want to say again, I love this car and I love this car club! (Truly pathetic first photo follows - gimme a break, I just ran out to the garage at 11PM.)

Midnight Son, while your first attempt to post a picture was pathetic in your words, half of the folks on here still can't post a picture. I was lucky, I majored in computer picture posting in college and can now post a picture some of the time. lol.
We will give you A for effort. Glad you are enjoying yourself and the car, and the POA, the best dammmmm site on www.

Midnight Son,

I too am a newer member to this forum (less than a year) and am not anywhere even close to computer literate.
As a result I have not successfully posted any photo's in the Discussion Forum.

I still try from time to time, one day I might get it.

Hey Idive -

Thanks for stopping by - looks much better! (I thought there was a beer missing from my little fridge out there.)

BTW, I think one of the things that confuses people trying to post a photo are the "Click Here" buttons you see after you hit "Upload." When you click on one of them they don't seem to do anything, but if you then close the window and do a Preview, it should show up.

(REAL photos to follow soon.)

OK, here's a couple of better ones - showed it locally in late July with my friend and her very cool matching PT Cruiser with "Scrat" airbrushing (from the Ice Age movies).

As you can see from the photos, when they're next to each other I'd swear that "Prowler Purple" is identical to PT "Cranberry."

Around 2 AM, in the dark, after 6 beers they are indistinguishable. lol

Ed, after six beers the PT and the Prowler would probably be indistinguishable.

I have had the Prowler called a PT many, many times. Also it has been called a Viper a few times. I was SOBER when that happened. I don't know about them.
