Other than people you know and Prowler events, how many Prowlers do you see on the road? Mention the state you saw it in.

1. 1 - 2

2. 3 - 5

3 4 - 10

4. 10 or more

The reason I am curious is here in NW Indiana I only see one a year so they are rare here. Every time my wife and I saw one we would get excited and point it out to each other. Now the people point at me! This is our first Summer and it has been great so far.

Padroo, do you mean how many a year? I rarely see them. There are plenty around but they all sit in the garage.
I have folks tell me that they just saw one but I never see any other than our get-togethers here.

usually I would see one every two or three years but for some reason I have seen 3 just the last six months.

Even here in Michigan, I very seldom see one that I don't know. Haven't seen any yet this season.

Since I saw the car in person for the first time at a car show in Boston in 1998. I have had maybe 7 sitings. One on the highway outside Tucson AZ in 2002. One in a parking lot in at the custom shop in Sacramento, CA (Ed bought it later). The other 5 sitings were in dealer lots.

Saw one on Ft Lauderdale Beach strip this year but thats it. Also I found out my neighbor 8 doors down has one. It's a garage queen. He says he just likes to look at it.

Seriously???? Wow....what a waste!! Definitely more fun to drive.........

Went to the WPC Museum Cruise Night tonight and the dealer that was sponsoring the event brought his Woodward #116. Had not met him before. He only has 3400 miles on it!

You're Canadian, so you may appreciate the anaology ... kinda similiar to being marreid to Pamela Anderson ... would you reaaaaaly just want to look it her? Come on!

As an owner, I still get excited, as do my daughters, when we are driving and either they, or I, spot a Prolwer on the road. I remember being in Paris in 2006, we were up on the observation deck of the Eifel Tower and my eldest spotted a silver Cat ... now how's that for a 6 year old?!?

I hear ya. Same with my wife, I want to grab her all the time!

I get excited everytime I see my own prowler. With our daily drivers ( which are nice cars) I don't look out the window to see them or do a circle check before I get in them or want to wash them after every drive lol.

sorry Dale

Hardly ever see any other Prowlers here in Texas or any place else. Maybe 1 or 2 a year.

Here in my town of 11,000 people in Mid TN we have 4 Prowlers and at least one in the next town over [30 miles away].
I have never seen another Prowler in on the road in Tennessee. I have never seen any of the others in my town.
I go to almost every car show in town and have never spoke to another owner here.
I travel 1/3 of the time, all over the US and I might see one a year, maybe.
I guess this is why it is such a treat to go Prowler meets and actually be with other Prowlers. :-)

There is one silver Kat on Hilton Head Island which I have seen twice in 8 years. The Kat is still a "curiosity" to most people.

We had a neighbor 3 blocks away (they have since moved) and he had a Mulholland and I saw it twice in 4 years. Once at a cruise-in. We had about 12 Prowlers there and he showed up, not knowing we were there. His father-in-law had mentioned the cruise-in and that is why he came. They lived on the same street as us.

And there's confusion as whether they will be collector cars one day? I don't think so!
Whether they will ever bring super high bucks, I have no idea. Too many variables. But that's not why I bought it. It consistently is one of the most fun toys I have ever owned. And that's I have toys: FUN, FUN, FUN!

I'm really surprised how few sightings there are, I thought it was just my area in Indiana where I live. It seems like the South, Florida, Texas, Arizona and California would be loaded with them. It's kind of like two women showing up at a party wearing the same designer dress. I figured there were a lot sitting in garages and storage.
