Updates on my 2001 Prowler:

Defective Lower Control Arm Ball Joints:
Repairs made in May of 2003.

Center Cap repairs:
Thank you Dick Linneman, shipped there and back in less than 1 week. Great service!

New Question:
I am running Goodyear Eagle GSD (EMT) tires. They look in decent shape. Is there a way to determine the manufacture date these were produced?

Look for the DOT stamp, could be on either side of the tire.

Tires manufactured after July 2, 2000 will have a 4 digit date code where the first 2 digits indicate the week and the second 2 digits are the year. ex. 2802 would be the 28th week of 2002.

Tires manufactured before July 2, 2000 have a 3 digit date code where the first 2 digits are the week and the last digit is the year. Tires made in the 1990s had a triangle following the 3 digit code and tires made in the 1980s did not. ex. 282 with a triangle would be 28th week of 1992 and 282 would be 28th week of 1982.

All times are CT (US)  Top of Page  Previous Page
