I would love at least 1 Chrome Front end but would need a front end to send out to get this done. And how hard to dis-assemble and put back properly, align the front end etc. What happens to the "holes" in the pieces that may or may not "fit" due to them having , now, a thicker Chrome plating on/in them ? Does the front end still go together well ? And lastly, MeanGene told me that you can achieve a chrome like finish the upper and lower A arms with a good polishing shop. I've heard that Polishing those is a great option. True ? I have a set of Chrome wheels that Hookers did for his Silver Prowler in 2008 or so. Sent to CA as well, when I get home, I'll figure out where when I get home and post here.

Hi John,
I did the disassemble and re-install myself on my last Prowler with chroming from Gary in 2016. I don’t know your abilities but I had zero issues. Parts will fit just fine after chroming… They are suspension parts and not engine or trans type parts that have forgiving tolerances that are un-noticeable on re-install.
Take your time with lots of before pics from different angles and keep all parts bolts and nuts labeled in separate containers for easy re-install without guessing what goes to what…. If you have mechanical abilities you can do it or have a friend to help…
You will need a new alignment when done as you would on any car with the similar job being done.
For myself, once you have the front end chromed, it’s hard to go back to the original… The WOW factor is off the chart….

1 more thing… and in my opinion, polishing is a back- up option if you can’t find someone to chrome the suspension… There is no comparison as far as which looks better…. I would have gone that route if we could not find a chrome shop to do it…

As impressive as that is . That’s not nearly as impressive as what’s under the hood.

Are mine polished or chrome? Most would never be able to tell.
