Intermittent rear suspension clunk coming from passenger rear, I remember someone talking about a bolt slowly back out over time, not sure if that’s related though….anyone know where I could start?

Upper and lower shock mounts. The supports under the rear of the chassis that run 45 degrees underneath. I actually had the exact same thing the first time I took my car out after reassembly. Upper shock bolt wasn’t torqued. Locked it up and never heard anything again. I PM you my number if you need help.

I had a similar noise and tightened up the bolts under the rear frame, specifically the ones on the 45 degree braces.

The posts before me are likely the cause but also check the stabilizer lateral link bushings…. If they are the originals, they are likely shot… My last Prowler had the same noise and it was a bad bushing…

Didn’t take the wheels off but got it up in the air today and shook everything I could and didn’t feel anything loose. The car goes in for State Inspection soon so I’ll have a mechanic take a second look. The car also has an aftermarket exhaust so, maybe that could be what I’m hearing? I’ll keep you guys updated, unfortunately it’s rainy season in VA. So I’m not taking her out much.
Thanks guys.
