Some of you will remember MeanGene. Met him 22 years ago. Was selling his wheels off his car and I've always loved them. He had them made to exact Prowler Specs. Will see how they look on the Black and the Silver car. They were still in exceptional shape so I bought them and picked them up on the way back from a NY trip. We had Dinner with Gene and Jyoti and they were such gracious hosts. Like many, he is battling some health issues but he looked great and is on top of his health now. Was a fun trip, more on that later.

Thanks. Take a look, thoughts? Still have not decided which cars to keep. Or all. Broken record Buehrle... there, in my opinion is no clear winner here.

Just an FYI - I would have to purchase a set of 17" wheels for the Trailer as well. They are still available. Gene had these wheels custom built specifically for a Plymouth Prowler with the same offsets as the stock wheels. Would be beautiful on either. I actually think the Silver, and add a few very discrete red accents to the body/paint would be beautiful and change up that car just enough to set it off, and I would love Tom Mills rear belly pan with the bumpers on it. The silver NEEDS it with the total change in the front and rear of the car, IMHO. The Black, needs nothing with those wheels, again, in My opinion. Shelley prefers the black and said: " Put them on the car your going to keep, but I prefer the black. Actually, you need another set" Haha. Love my wife.

I have looked at this 50 times! Super tough decision! The black car looks classy with the little touch of red in there, classic street rod red and black, love it. Now the silver car looks a little sinister with the touch of red in there and being as she’s got some performance mods and sounds beast I’m sure. Dude I really don’t know.

Think I’m leaning toward the silver car. Black car is very tastefully modified, silver car is as well but I think the silver car is more of a performance mods car I.E. headers C.A.I. Exhaust system etc. silver car you would expect to have aftermarket wheels with the amount of mods already. Silver car is my vote.

The black car has probably the most practical, desirable and extremely rare modification a Prowler can have. Of course I’m referring to the two piece deck lid. Unless you’re going to swap that over to one of the other two the black car is a keeper for that reason alone. If it were me I would either sell the candy red or the another option would combine all the best mods of the silver and black into one car and sell the other. The candy should probably remain stock. Although as I think about it , a candy red with all the best options of the three cars would be killer.. A rare color with very rare options.

I guess an option would be to purchase another two piece deck lid.

Thanks all. So many things going through my head, but lots here that I agree with.

Rich, don't worry, the Black is going nowhere and I will order Gary's Side panels this week. I Love what Tom did to that car from the two-piece Deck lid, to Gary's rear Mini Belly pan, Gary's Spoiler, Toms bumper removal and light kits, and the painted rear bumpers. It just looks awesome to me. He did a splendid job.

I am really leaning towards the silver as well , PROWL13, cdelucca99 ! I LOVE it. I posted in the tech session a bracket that Hookers made for the Prowler Hitch to hold the light plug. He hand made it. I spoke with him yesterday and he said "the more you look , the more you are going to find" on that Silver Prowler. So far I have documented about 30K in modifications to that car (my estimate). If I keep it the only thing I might change is the grill and possibly put the Nerf Bars on the black.

Lots of thoughts, may offer the Silver as is, just like I bought it. Or may decide to swap some parts. Those Wheels go on the Black, then the Candy's wheels and tires are going on the Silver and the absolutely perfect Chrome Wheels and Run flats on the silver (circa 2011) will go on the Candy. Candy will be shown as 100% stock, how Plymouth intended the car to be. I will either put the set of gears I have on the Silver, and it would have Bellenger Headers, Borla and then the gears, again Candy all stock and the Black, I would just put the Borla on. That is if I keep all three. The Nerf bars would look great on the Black, as would a lot of other parts on the Silver. But I am finding it difficult to take the car apart. Don't know why. It has grown on me tremendously. If I put those wheels on the Black and or silver, the trailer tires have to be changed as well, leaving me with even more spare parts. Ugh.

Only thing 100% sure is I am keeping the black. If that is the only one, then these wheels go on Black. Soon I have to make a decision. Thanks all!

John

You must have sold a lot of T shirts. lol. I would put them on the car that I like and ignore other opinions. My car, my opinion/options. Your car, do what you like.

Thank you! I saw them and fell in love with them in Gatlinburg circa 2012/2013. Not sure but had dinner with Gene and we spoke of those wheels. Never forgot them.
