Something for Monday evening oct. 5th – Tram ride and dinner at Ober Gatlinburg (Action Required).

My Vette buddies in the South LA clubs are making a trip to the Smoky’s at the end of Oct. to run the Tail of the Dragon (3rd trip 03, 06 & 09). It’s a 4 day trip just to run the Dragon. They always go to Ober Gatlinburg for the Tram ride & dinner at the Restaurant in the evening. They say the views & sights are gorgeous from the Tram ride and the Glass enclosed restaurant.

So, I’ve spoken with the Ober staff and we can get the same package for Tram and choice of Four entrée dinner with all the trimmings, taxes and gratuities for $29.45 per person (the Tram ride alone would be $10). We would arrive at Ober Gatlinburg at 5:30 for 6:00 Tram ride to Restaurant.

Dinner Menu … You must select one of the four Entrée items by Tuesday, Sept. 22nd

1) 8 oz Prime Rib
2) Roasted Half Chicken
3) Fresh Trout Almandine
4) Pasta Primavera with Grilled Chicken Topped with Alfredo Sauce

Served with …
Tossed Salad w/house dressing
Twice Baked Potato
Vegetable Du Jour
Hot Rolls & Butter
Cheese Cake
Coffee, Tea or Soft Drink

If you would like to attend, please reply to this post, email or PM Ed or me and tell us if you will pay with registration or at Check-in Reception. We will add this info to Ed’s spread sheet.

We have to make our dinner selections a week ahead of time. So, we need your input by Sept. 22nd. We have to Confirm & Commit to the Ober Sales staff a week ahead of time. So, this gives us a few days to handle admin & follow-up stuff.

Payment: We’ll round the $29.45 to $30 per person if you want to attend the dinner. We have to make initial down payment by Sept. 15th (we’ll handle) and than final payment day of event. For those of you who have not sent in your Pre-Event payment, you could add this to your payment. Otherwise, we will collect monies at Sunday’s Registration for Ober Gatlinburg. At Registration, you can pay in cash or make check payable to Ed Monahan for the amount. Once we commit with the selected meals, we are on the hook for the payment.

Count us in for this event. 2 Chicken. Now, make sure the chicken is freshly plucked and Kosher, is a big breasted and thick thigh gal with a killer smile! LOL
We will include the $60.00 in the Basic Registration check.
