As you all know, I "retired" from planning extra activities in conjunction with the Dream Cruise. I've had some of those attending ask if we are going to cruise, etc. with them while they are here. Yes, we are going to cruise during the week and on Dream Cruise Saturday. Also open for dinner evenings depending on how early you get here. I also was given the parking at 13 & Woodward that we have gotten from Chrysler each year for this year, also (after I canceled it - Joe was more than happy to accommodate my request). He would like to know, however, how many I am expecting to park there on Saturday. If you are attending and want to park with us, please post here. Also let me know what day you will be arriving during the week! Thanks......looking forward to seeing all of you! |

How nice CJ! Sharon and I will most likely take a jaunt down Woodward that Saturday and meet with the gang at the 13 mile road parking area. Thanks for posting! |

Just to reinforce what CJ says, parking is provided by Chrysler. She needs to know who plans to join us and they will only allow Chrysler products. They are expecting Prowlers to be parked there. Larry did it correctly letting us know that they were bring three Challengers. This isn't a show up and park offer. In the past we've used a temporary pass affixed to the windshield at their request turning away cars without ID. We may have to do that again this year. |

We should be able to accommodate those of you with the Challengers. Will talk to my contact this week. For the newbies!!..........If you could provide me with your full name (rather than just a screen name), I would appreciate it. If you don't want to post it, please send it to me in a private message. Thanks!!! I will be at the hotel on Saturday morning to give all of you a parking pass (as we always have in the past) for the Dream Cruise parking, along with a map of the parking location. If you all want to cruise together down Woodward that morning, everyone please meet at the hotel. As the time gets closer, I will put up another post with all the info you will need. Don't forget to bring your radios!!!! |

CJ, Let us know what hotel you will be at Saturday, as we have had a room booked since last years cruise, and we will meet you for a parking pass. We would like to join in on the prowler cruise that day. What radios??

Rob, they are talking about 2-way radio's. When we cruise, most people have radio's to talk to each other, usually on channel 10. |

As far as Dream Cruise Saturday is concerned, and in the past, we usually leave the hotel at about 9:00 am and get at least one big loop done before it gets crazy! At that time, I will hand out the Chrysler Parking passes. This message has been edited by CJ on 08-08-2013 at 08:15 AM |

Cruising started big time last Friday. We had dinner with one of our car clubs on Tuesday night on Woodward. I'm looking forward to actually cruising and looking at the cars this year. For those coming with Prowlers Saturday, you must see CJ to get a parking pass. I'm not handling the parking, this is all Chrysler and it's no pass, no park. |
