Curtis, put it on Ebay. Somebody was selling one last week, he had a bid for $4500 and then he cancelled the auction. Probably got an offer he couldn't refuse. You'll get the money you're looking for on Ebay. |

I also would probably only pay $2500 max delivered for a $3000 product when new. |

quote: That's a perfectly logical position....if they were still in production and readily available. But they're not. Nor, does it appear, that they ever will be again. Which means, unfortunately, that what they cost new is no longer relevant. It's now based entirely on supply and demand, and since, it appears, the entire supply at this moment is one (1) unit (Curtis' hardtop), it is what is commonly referred to as a "seller's market". Pay what they're askin' or don't get one. Which kind of sucks for guys like me and you and many others here, cause we want hardtops and, as they say in Texas, there ain't none. I'll tell you what though - if you can find one or three, I'll write you a check on the spot for $3000 apiece. You can make a quick $500 per unit |

Buck is right. Even when new, something will only sell for what someone else is willing to pay. We know Buck is willing to pay $3k, so that is the going value on this little thread. |
