Thanks Larry - I figured most people here have seen it enough. I'll have to search through some old event posts to get some pics before I list it on ebay though.

Dustis - does Miss Kitty want a Fast, black cat? I'll throw in a bottle of Jager!

I saws some cars on Power Tour that got me thinking. I like change - duh! - and I may just buy a high mileage Prowler and play with it some. I don't want to tear mine up with the interior, headlights, taillights, rear pan, stoker motor etc. For what I want to try I want to start with a basically stock car.

John - after reading your posts lately I know I need a bigger motor in a Prowler to keep up and I've put too much time & $$ in to my car to just tear it up trying to keep pace with you, Marc, Mike, Dean, Dan and others.

One nibble so far but $8K away from my own bottom line figure. If I can't pay this one off and buy a used stock Prowler with the proceeds, you all are stuck with me as is.

let's see, buy a high mileage Prowler, where are you going to find one with more miles?

good luck

for a GO FAST CAR the Prowler isn't the best base to start with.........my take on it the way to go with a prowler to go fast would be back half the car with live axle, cut the tunnel to fit a trans and install a V8...the other option is to use a VETTE transaxle and a V8. either way it will take much wiring mods. Gut all the wiring, install autometer gauges and painless wiring. MAJOR MODS & BIG BUCKS

I think it is great that so many have spent the time and money to make very fast Prowlers, what I cannot believe it that with all the $$$$$ that has been spent we still have not seen a working V8 in a Prowler.

When I buy another Prowler I will start with a basically STOCK one and plan to use entirely different drive train. Whether my cars sells (doubtful) or not I will be researching - already started - with some hot rod shops and others including a cousin who had built record holding AA Gas dragsters in the 70's about what could possibly be done. Half the fun will be trying to figure out what to do and what can be done. I'm really hoping to leave my car intact. If I can sell it for enough to pay it off and pay cash for a near stock high mileage Prowler I will sell.

I will NOT be without Prowler!!

Now you did it Marty! I have to spill the beans. I was informed last week by the BMW parts police that using their aftermarket parts in any other make of car is a capital offense. So don't you even think about it! They grandfathered my car in, I'm safe!

OK - you can't blame me for going for the big bucks to begin with - you just don't ever know if someone is out there willing to pay that. I got one verbal bid for $38K from a prowleronline lurker but had to turn down tgeh offer.

I have changed the sales price in the first post to $46K for the car. If it doesn't sell in the next 30 days I will put it on ebay after the Dell's event.

Ed I posted that pic because Lindsay was driving topless and that I thought that would counterbalance the fact that I was I in the pic.
