Best of luck, hope the current high bidder gets it. He needs to get back into a Kat.

Thanks Guys, really miss the kat !
Dusti , I just cant pass on the fact the car is untitiled never in service,
I would be first owner with 7 years warranty.
I dont think that could ever happen again on a " NEW" Black Tie.
WE will see.........

Mike - have Brian Long run the VIN#:

1p3ew65g11v700501

Just because the car has the MSO title,,,,doesn't mean that an "in-service" date wasn't put in place. While I was looking at SSR's a while back,,,,I ran across two SSR's with MSO's, but had already been listed "in-service" with a warranty start date. You probably are alright,,,but just to be safe with a clear understanding.

Good luck,
AC

It shows in service date of 12-18-00 and all warranties expired on 12-18-03. It hasn't had the ball joint recall either. It has been titled, as well.....at least that's what it shows in the system.

It is a sweet and clean looking ride, though

Brian,
Owner of the dealership told me there was no in service date yet.
Maybe you have the wrong #
It still has its MSO.
Thanks for running it.

Brian was correct. As posted on the QA section of the ebay bid.
"WE HAVE RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT THE CAR WAS PUT INTO SERVICE THE DAY WE TOOK DELIVERY FROM THE CHRYSLER DEALER BACK ON 12/15/00. THEREFORE, THE CHRYSLER WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER REGISTERED THE CAR NOR DID WE GET A TITLE MADE. WE STILL HAVE IN OUR POSESSION THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN. EXTENDED WARRANTIES ARE AVAILABLE THRU US FROM AN INDEPENDANT WARRANTY COMPANY."

They also state the buy it now price of $69K is essentually their reserve and what they want for a used, no warranty vehicle.

Way too much in my opinion......

Yellow,
You are correct, way too much for a vehicle with no Chrysler warranty.
Even though it is essentially Brand new, the reserve is too high.
Thanks Brian

No problem. Although it is too much without a warranty, in my opinion, I bet thinking about it has really got your juices flowing for another one...eh? It is still going to be interesting to see what the bids get up to for this fine specimen.

Are you saying the standard warranty would have made it worth another $29K? (his buy-it-now price).

Personally, I think the current bid is too much. I found one of these a couple of years back that was new, not titled, still at the dealer with full warranty and they were asking $36K for it and didn't get a response.

Seller also thinks they only made 102 of these.

To most folks though, that doesn't really matter as everything these days seems limited, numbered, or special edition something or other to the point we are immune to it.

There is one on Auto Trader for 37K as posted earlier. Just do a search with a price range of 36K to 37K.

Here is another one listed on Autotrader for $38K:

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dda/detail.jsp?dealer_id=55760971&car_id=200966646

The description says it is blue and silver, but it sure looks like a Black Tie to me.

Brian Long, can you please run the VIN (1P3EW65G81V700463) and see what this car is supposed to be? Thank you. Chris

This was originally silver. I noticed this one the other day too, and thought it was a clone of Blue Tie w/o the dragon panels and flames
