gearguy32This is the car referenced in the discussion forum entitled "Can Anyone Help?"...

A financial hardship forces the sale of this '99 Prowler. Red with black top and interior. One adult female owner from new, 20,000 miles, in very nice original unaltered condition which has been dealer serviced since day one. Also included is the factory luggage rack and trunk. I will answer all questions as best I can. Priced to sell quickly at $26,000. Located in upstate New York.
I don't understand why my pics of this car are not uploading...but, if you send me your email address, I can send them directly to you. Sorry for any inconvenience, (I'm still working on this!) Thank You.

gearguy32Pictures of this car are available. Go to the website- royalchrysler.com and click on the Red Prowler image as soon as it loads at the top of the homepage...Thanks

Me TimeThe OP has sent me a few snap shots of the car and it looks very "red", when I look on the dealers web site the car says Prowler Red but looks very orange, which do you guys think it is, more Orange or Red?

katmatI'd say red.
beachcatVery red. The ones he sent you are probably more what it is.
gearguy32This car is in untouched original condition...It is "Prowler Red".... Artificial lighting tends to give it an orange hue.
catfishthe prowler red was more orange than red.have no idea why they called it red, when it wasnt a real red.

CJBeing a 1999...it would be red. Orange was not produced until 2001. Unless it was repainted a different color.

Disagree. Looks red in person. If it was more orange than red, it would have been called Orange.

catfishthe color was prowler red.the real color is more orange than red,the mixing formula is way more orange than red,so its not a true red.

ed monahanIt is Chinese Red
gearguy32The price has been reduced to $24,000...This Prowler needs to find a new home as soon as possible. Thank You...
Me TimeI spoke with the OP and he said the car is SOLD!
StingRayI recall the discussion on this board when that color was first introduced, and it was affectionately referred to as Tomato Soup Red ... a sort of orangish red.
beachcatWell that settles it then. It's a soupy, orangish, chinese, untrue red.

It's red lol.

Me TimeAnd it's SOLD!
