mslc10 Upcoming Texas cruise will meet up at bucees in lulling at 10am 11/14/15.
Depart 10:30 ish for Gonzales memorial museum where it is stated that the " come and take it" flag is and some other Texas historical items. We might also check out the jail museum.
Depart for Shiner brewry store where we will taste beers!! Shop for shiner paraphernalia. Brewry is not open for tours on Saturdays.
Depart from Shiner and carefully proceed to Schulengerg for an early dinner at Sengelmanns for some good German food!
4:30-5:00 head for the house.
Should be a fun run with 7-8 cars so far!!

dru Looking forward to it Mark. Gonzales should be interesting and looking forward to dinner in Schulenberg. There should be a group of us coming from Houston. Thanks for setting it up.
99yellowkat I would like to know where the group from Houston will be meeting up to head out to Buc-ees? I'm interested in driving with this group.

If anyone coming from the Houston area is interested in traveling
together, we can meet up on the west side of Houston ( at the Sam's Club
at I-10 and Fry Rd ) and travel out to Luling. It will take about 2
hours to get there so we will need to leave about 8:20-8:30 AM. If
there is no interest in meeting up, then everyone is on their own.

Great food! The owner of singlemans hall had four people call out on the day we decided to " prowl" his restraunt! He was by himself & kept up the service with a great attitude and the food was outstanding at an exceptional price!!he actually closed the restraunt so we'd be the only guests to be waited on!
Then he had an hour to do it again with a model a club arriving!!
Amazing!!

dru Thanks Mark for setting this up. You and Dana did a great job. One of the best things was getting to meet 3 new couples with prowlers. And of course seeing old friends as well. I will post just a few pics also.

The "Come and Take It" canon. I have to be honest, I was a little surprised at how small it was. Not sure why Mexico was so concerned about it.

Marty Usher Rebecca & I really enjoyed the day of cruising, eating, stopping at museums and shops and of course talking with everyone.
If nothing develops for a National Prowler event in 2016, maybe we'll see about doing a long weekend in the Hill Country again next Spring.
