I spoke with Brad this evening and he has come up with what I think is a terrific idea for Saturday night's dinner. He tells me that trying to get into a restaurant for dinner on a weekend is difficult enough in Ft. Wayne, let alone this particular weekend with all the activities scheduled. Add 50+ people to the equation, and we have to find a solution that will accommodate all of us. He has told me about a museum in Ft. Wayne called the Corvette Classics Museum. It is owned by a gentleman who owns 53 Corvettes and has created a museum to house his private collection. Apparantly, it is an awesome collection of vehicles. The museum offers clubs, organization, corporate, etc. the opportunity to hold parties/dinners, etc. at the facility. We think this would be a great idea to end a day of great activities and to have a place for dinner that we could all be together in a relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity to mix dinner and conversation among a collection of classic cars. In addition, it is just a few minutes from our host hotel!! Brad is looking into caterers and will work on a price that would not be much different than a dinner at a nice restaurant. We'd like to hear some feedback to see if all of you would be interested in this. We need to book the museum very soon (by the end of this week), so let's hear from you now!!! Here is a link where you can check out the museum.............
