dpenaJust thought some of you might enjoy some SMOG before and after results using Prowler Pro's header Y pipe with Catalytic and without Catalytic combinations.

I SMOG'ed my Prowler with Prowler Pro's Y-Pipe Headers without CATS. Here are the results;

Marty UsherCool - I assume California standards are tougher than most states. The emissions testing in Louisville was mandated by the EPA until the area came into compliance of air quality and was not a state wide testing program. The testing stopped last year. My car pass the "tailpipe" test but failed the visual inspection since it had no cats at the time. For those that need to have testing done it is a good to know Dean's catalytic convertors work well.
butchceethat's cool Dan--for those in NY, my car passed with no Cats at all with the new test procedure.

You understood correctly!!

If you run your Prowler without CATALYTIC's you will fail SMOG in California.

If your looking to change your stock CATALYTIC's for HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC's and are worried whether or not your Prowler will pass SMOG?? Well, you now have the details.
