I went to Cosco today and ask them about a matching set of BF Goodrich tires. 295-40-20 and 225-45-17 They said they bought so many tires from their suppliers that they could get the hard to get tire sizes when others could not. They called someone and said they had several sets of the hard to get tires that fit a Prowler. The 225-45-17 is the one that Tirerack and others said were not available from BFG. If you like that tread you might ought to go to Cosco and have them call. Just sayin. $232..295-40-20 ea. They said they could et them in about 5 days. I'm not sure about the mount/balance fees This message has been edited by Zapcopd on 04-26-2013 at 05:02 PM The Cosco in Knoxville Tn does have a Hunter machine but I'd be worried about the rims also. The above site shows the 225-45-17, but the 295-40-20 does not show up. You could be right about the tread mix up. The Costco tire manager did the search. Costco is a good place to get your tires. I am sure if you told them to be careful with your rims, and they screwed up, Costco is the place that will reimburse you with little problem. A high end tire shop is the place to have your tires replaced at.Gort Zapcopd Did they give you a price? beachcat cool artistic effect on the picture! Gort quote:

$168..225-45-17 ea.ed monahan My main concern would be the guys operating the tire mounting machine on Prowler rims. Zapcopd I looked on BF Goodrich site & couldn't find anything. Also looked on tirerack and found G force T/A KDW 2 for the fronts and G force T/A KDW for the rear. I think the (2) has a different tread pattern from the original KDW. I wonder if they are confusing the original KDW with the KDW 2. I like the tread pattern of the KDW. Not so sure about the 2.
Thanks for the info. I will check it out this weekend.Gort quote:

http://www.tires-easy.com/ JeraneW Be sure those guys know how to remove valve stems properly before dismounting tire from rim. The sensor can be damaged if not done properly. padroo I asked my local Costco to find me any tire in matching tread for the Prowler an they could not find any in Prowler sizes. If I remember right Costco only sells a few brands unlike Discount Tire or Tire Rack. Howard quote:
