Everyone loves a parade! The Colony celebrates Independence Day with a good old hometown parade. The parade begins at 10:00am on July 1st. The parade route starts at the Little League fields on North Colony Blvd., then heads west on North Colony to Blair Oaks, and then south on Blair Oaks to The Colony High School. Approx 2 miles and takes about one hour. Lineup for the parade begins at 9:15am. Throwing candy or other objects from moving vehicles is not permitted. (throw it anyway) However, walkers may pass out candy or other appropriate items. I have already signed up as a POA group. All are invited. All who can make it we can meet at the IHOP In front of ALBERTSONS at Hwy 121 and Main St (423) its easy access from any direction ....around 9:00 Take Hwy 121 to The Colony, go north on main you will see the albertsons on the right. Then take a little cruise around DFW. Jim Jesse Got Two

The way it looks right now is that I CANNOT make it tomorrow. If I can, it will be a mad dash to The Colony. I will not know until Saturday morning. If not the parade, maybe at the IHOP afterwards. I can't commit right now. PM me your cell # and I'll call you in the morning to let you know 1 way or the other.
