twilson88 | I replace the stock exhaust system with the mopar performance system all went well, I know have about 2000 miles on the new system , now here a rattle at low speeds (I have to drive it to here it, cant here it n park ). I retighten all bolts and still there (sound like it coming from the cats). I didn’t see any thing that would cause a rattling. I know I’m over looking something, any suggestions

bob gauchey | I also had a rattle in the rear. I thought it was my recently installed Moper exhaust. I found out that it was the rear panel hitting the Carlini cover and in turn rattling the license plate. I had put spacers under the cover to insure enough air flow. I removed the spacers and secured the bottom of the license plate and all is fine now. |
ALLEY CAT | ToolTimeWilson - I just installed the Mopar exhaust last week, and I also hear the rattle/vibration noise. It said to torque the clamp nuts 32-35 lbs,,,,,,,,,,,maybe I need to recheck that? When you get in a hurry, you tend to forget the little things. I installed them on a 113 degree day,,,,,not too smart, I know,,,and didn't torque them. |
