Midnight Son | The only year with both the larger engine AND the signature Prowler Purple color. Super-clean condition throughout with all systems working perfectly; chrome wheels, new Sweet Thunder® exhaust (original muffler and resonators included), documentation and brochures, car cover. Oil & filter changed 200 miles ago. If you know your Prowlers, this one has all the looked-for upgrades: Wonderbar, Jefferson window lifts, door opening mod, new door speakers and hood struts, etc. Or in case you’re just learning about Prowlers, here’s what you need to know:A hand-built technology showcase, assembled at the Chrysler Conner Ave. plant alongside the Viper RT/10. Super-light construction: all-aluminum frame, aluminum/ composite/ magnesium body and cast aluminum wheels for a curb weight of 2838 pounds (Camaro = 4100#; Mustang = 3700#; Challenger = 4100#; Porsche 911 = 3300#). 253 HP + only 2800 pounds = 0-60 in 5.7 sec.; burnouts and donuts on demand. Aluminum overhead cam, 4 valves per cylinder 3.5 liter V6 engine, multi-point fuel injection, all stainless steel exhaust including headers. Great handling thanks to very light weight, P225/45HR17 (front) and P295/40HR20 (rear) Goodyear run-flat tires, independent multilink suspension w/Koni coil-over shocks, 4-speed Autostick transaxle in rear for 50/50 weight distribution. The look and attitude of a home-built roadster but with factory technology for safety and convenience: leather seats, power windows, door locks, mirrors, and deck lid release; A/C, glass rear window with electric defroster, airbags, full gauges, quad projector headlights, cruise control, tilt steering wheel with audio controls, 340 watt 7-speaker Infinity audio system with cassette AND six-disc CD changer, etc. etc. And finally, GREAT technical support from the Prowler Owners Club (Prowleronline.com) and Prowler-certified mechanics at local Chrysler dealers. Located in suburban Philadelphia and priced for quick sale at $28,500. Photos to follow if I can figure out how to upload ‘em. Reply here or by PM or call Dave at 610-644-4281 or email sirstuff@aol.com

Midnight Son | OK, anybody know what's the deal with uploading photos? I finally got them sized and uploaded six photos, got an "Image Uploaded Successfully" message every time, but they're not there. |
beachcat | When it says "Image Uploaded Successfully" , copy and paste the link into your post. You will have to re-name your file now to do it again. |

WINDY CITY PROWLER | Nice prowler and a great price. |
Midnight Son | Thanks, Windy City. I grew up in Chicago (far north side), went to Lane Tech. Miss it a lot - except for the weather. Are there many Prowlers in the area? (Very few here in Philadelphia, in fact not much car culture at all.) |
