TomGary C He is building a house and he is way to busy, try Prowlerpro... Key Man did you try c.mangeng Unfortunately, Tony decided to close shop. Marc-Colo-99 Haven't talked to Dean at Prowler Pro in a couple months but I'm betting his patent on the gears finally went into effect. Give Dean a call or I think you can order his gears from Bob at Real Rod. Gary C Nope no patent, aaaaaaaaaaa I will stfu now..... Marc-Colo-99 Prowler Pro has the original, proven gears (Patent Pending) in stock. Give Dean a call 970-260-2411. Gary C Yepper, toooo bad Tony offered us a fair deal at $895 and still was making a very fair profit. Marc-Colo-99 I met Tony in Deadwood a couple of years ago(along with alot of other owners) and I think he is a pretty nice guy but like I said before, Prowler Pro has the ORIGINAL, proven gears (Patent Pending) in stock. Give Dean a call 970-260-2411. Gary C lol Marc-Colo-99 What's lol supposed to mean?
Dean invested his time and money for development and tooling over 4 years ago and was making a profit, and that's bad? Bringing the price down without the development costs I'm sure was easy. In my opinion many of the aftermarket parts for our cars are priced high. But when you have such a limited market and the same development costs as those products for cars with 100's of thousands of customers the price will be higher.
Anyway, currently only Prowler Pro has the original, proven gears (Patent Pending) in stock. Give Dean a call 970-260-2411.christina I talked with Dean at Prowlerpro and he will be hooking me up with some new gears in the spring Gary C I know someone who has some gears for sale, New.... and way less expensive the PP's gears, gdc017@insightbb.com MDProwler How is it possible to get a patent on a set of gears. Different as they may be, it's not a revolution in powertrain development. It's simply a different ratio and beefed up components.I always thought the idea had to be more then just a redesign of an existing item: for example a completly different way to transfer power other then gears. Understand I'm not against it, more power to him, and I will get my set this year. Maybe that's why I never patented anything.
