well some collect toys some get the real thing I have some blue cars but they are not the HV Blue and have never seen any other than the few that Kozican painted for Mike with the correct HVblue paint........I have #5 of 15 1/24 scale This message has been edited by meandmykitty on 01-14-2006 at 12:29 AM Judy ... what is criteria for being a lucky recipient to one of these fine 'custom painted' models? Just curious what may become of the last ones (assuming one to stay in the Krehel Museum, of course!). Just curious what may become of the last ones (assuming one to stay in the Krehel Museum, of course!). I am not 100% sure but I think I am the one that started Mike on this idea. I knew Mike was getting shipped to him some extra HV Blue Paint. I asked him if I could get a small amount of paint sent to me, to paint a model. He agreed but it was later decided that I would send the model parts I had to Mike. They were to be painted at the same time he was having accessory parts for the HV Blue painted. I also asked Mike to sign it for me. The one I sent Mike started life as a silver Prowler. I believe Mike has #1 of 15 and Don has #2 of 15. I know some of these have appeared as prizes and or raffle items at National Prowler events. I believe The first time was at Prowling the Smokies. At the Texas Stampede Wild Bill won one at auction. Let's start the bidding High-Voltage Blue Very Happy owner: High-Voltage II Very Happy owner: High-Voltage Blue Die-Cast Very Happy Owners: #1 - Mike & Judy Krehel A little bit of interesting information. Matthew Kaufman set up a bulk purchase for the POA of the 1:64 Maisto Prowlers a few years ago. Maisto did a run of dark blue (Mullholland) & a run of silver-blue Metallic very close to the High-Voltage Blue. WildBill [/B] Yes -I think Kristian learned his lesson that day about joining in on "bidding" on items. T We were laughing about that just the other day. Jamie brought it up and Kristian left the room!!! LOL T I can still picture the whole moment in my head, word for word! ------------------ PROWLEN.... Ten have been given away and the last 5 are still here in Houston. Ray W/C ... you lucky dog ... would be cool to have ... BeWare Here is mine #3 of 15. I have modified mine with extra interior detail, fender guards and chrome wheels. One of my most valued Die-cast Prowlers

Ray Rich, Thanks for the explanation ... cool story CJ I was the very lucky recipient of #4. It is a treasured item. WildCat Helping people in the Prowler family has many rewards. I did something to help Don and he gave the car to me at the smokies in return.......I really don't remember what I did, but this a great place to have friends meandmykitty MINE ARE BRIGHTER THAN THE PICS POSTED, MAYBE THE WRONG PAINT OR BECAUSE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY BLACK? RAY YOU HAVE ONE ALREADY SO DOES JESSE. BeWare The HV color was a special blend and is not available to be purchased. This is why Mike got the extra left over paint directly from DMC. These 15 diecast are painted in the actual HV Blue paint. This is why I treasure mine so much. It is something that cannot be exactly replicated without having access to the paint. Just as a side note there is a lot of metalflake in this paint. cnote6 who all has one of these? 15? ed monahan Chris, Judy K posted on this thread a few days ago. They gave out 10 and have 5 left. WildBill Rich was right, it is a piece that I as well hold very high in my Prowler collection. I won #10 at the Texas Stampede auction which was held in the Krehel Prowler Museum. It was a very active auction between Frank Peri, myself & Tami Fisher's son. That old adage "Kids should be seen & not heard" never held such a high importance to Tami as it did that day... I never saw a kid get picked up, gagged & carried out of a room so fast in my life.
