redheet55	Reno & Sparks NV become the car-crazed cruise capital of America every August. 50s & 60s cars rule the day but Prowlers would be most welcome. The dates are July 29 - August 6. The biggest weekend is Aug. 5th and 6th, Sat. and Sunday. I'm goin' and I think it would be a great event for the POA. I'm new so has this been done before?
obi-wan	I will have a corral at the Exxon station in sparks on the main street on Fri. afternoon and evening and Sat. afternoon and evening starting about 3;00 PM until after the parade has ended each night. I will have enough room for several Prowlers and Vipers but I need to know who is coming in advance. This location is just down the block from the main grandstand in Sparks right on the parade route just about where the parade starts. I have set up permission with the service station owner. I'll have my display tent all set up in an L shape. There will be a large Prowler sign on the front of it. Please contact me so I know your going to be there. This will give people a parking spot right on the parade route. You can leave you car there if you wish and walk down the a block or two to the car show in the afternoon and evening. If there's enough interest I could be there earlier. I did this last year but no one came. I had a blast and talked to lots of people with their hot rods and classic cars. They would pull out of the parade to see my Prowler and talk to me-we had a blast. Call me or e-mail me(I prefer phone calls)650-967-36509. burglarman	We're planning on going but a little to early to commit. We'll have the prowler and should have the Shelby GT500 by then both going up. Would you mind a Ford in your corral?

obi-wan	Because the parking spaces are very limited I need to limit them to Prowlers and Vipers only unless there's less than 5 but it looks like there will be more that want to park there. I may be able to "wangle" several places on the other side of the station but we can't block the store up that's there. The owner is a very nice guy and I don't want to take any advantage of him. He really gone out of his way to let me do this as it is. We want to be sure to do business with him when we're there. This is a very good location to say the least. More on this later. DR PROWLER	That's true....Nevada is hot for car shows. The VOI...Viper Owner's Invitational is happening in Las Vegas this year at the Venetian....expected 1000 cars!
obi-wan	Sorry, I was not aware of the Viper gathering so not to step on their toes I will restrict my corral to just Prowlers(and their owners and friends), also since the space is limited. I now have 3 confirmed cars so if you want one of these spaces get ahold of me a.s.a.p.(see above). obi-wan	The address of the Exxon station is: 1675 Victorian Ave. Sparks Nv. 89431 The owner of that station is Fred Nejabat-he's a very nice man and a car guy. I really appreciate him doing this for all of us so be sure to buy something from his store while your there-and maybe get gas too. I think I'll be staying at Boomtown. I have not made res. yet, but will soon and will post it then. I've found that location to be very good in the past.
