------------------ ------------------ In NO WAY am I beating up on Gold...but the highboy was intended to be painted bad black. Gold just doesn't cut it. No other color but black works on a highboy! ------------------ ------------------ I dont like the look on the prowler. Too much modification, IMHO. I would love to know the true "story" behind the ownership history and how it came to be where it is today. Carfax shows that it spent a good deal of its life on the back of auto transporters! ------------------ I noticed that the text in the listing had this mentioned. I had a number of sellers of such vehicles either trying to overvalue the car for sale or simply lie through their teeth (e.g. deny accident reports or rental history). I'd minimally run the carfax report for myself. Compared to the price of the car the report is worth it That said, I dig the gas cap cover and haven't seen it before. The picture of the stock radio left a little to be desired Most of the rest I can identify (and lust after myself....) ed It's definitely a head turner.... Wonder why all the owners? Wonder why all the owners? Potentially hundreds of reasons (supposed investment, toy car, lost job, got married,....) I wouldn't discount any car because of the amount of previous owners. I think its beautiful and am actually considering it!!!Nasty Cat http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15284&item=2458276955 dbudner Not sure I like the look in gold or the rims. Nasty Cat I like the seats and the gas cap. Wayne Finch Seats are nice. Gary C 's (now Mike's) looks much better butchcee A for effort--lots of nice touches. MDProwler Very nice. Not into the highboy look on the Prowler though.
Gary K Mike Files don't like the high boy, like the seats, looks like he has a few problems. rear tires are too big and rub

A pic when I owned it.
Kat Dreamer Doesnt removing those front fenders play heck with flying debris from the tires? Gary C Not really, doing the auto cross got some knicks, about this size>>>>>>. Gary C 6000 miles of no fenders, no problem dbudner Yeah, the seats and door inserts were pretty nice after I scrolled down. Not sure if all prowlers have the built in rub on the rear pan from the trunk. I must not have had that option installed.... Kevin A I'm always amazed how someone could pour that much money into a car and have it change hands so many times. When the car was in PA it was listed on eBay. Maybe 5-6 months ago. I'm sure it has to be this car. How many gold HiBoys could there be?

Mostly stock - F/R mud flaps, Chrome shiftknob and bezel
Non-stock permanent grin on my face when driving!sexlessape I'm not sure whether it's warranted or not, but after spending a lot of time shopping for a kat on eBay and from used dealers and running a fair bit of carfax reports, the moment I've seen "Sold at auction" popping up on a carfax report my warning bells have sounded off and I was wise to take a step back. YellowFever I think it looks great and at less then $34K (reserve price) a real bargain. Lone Ranger YellowFever quote:
