steventhad | Hey Folks! I have a Prowler Jr go-kart which was one of 250 made to promote the new Prowler. It has never had any fluids or fuel and been in storage since 1997. I am now coming to terms with the fact that I need to let it go as I am moving and will no longer be able to garage it. Anyone have any interest? I am located near Holland Michigan. You can contact me at steve@thepinesmotorlodge.com Thanks! Steve |

GenoTex | I emailed this gentleman right away... as soon as he posted here... and while he did not specify a seeking price he did inform me that he felt that production of these had been limited to 250, and that they were available only to dealers in'97, and they cost these dealers over $5000.... and he was looking to recover his cost, which not quite that much, was considerable. I replied to him that he might want to come back here, and do a search, and he can find that these sell here for about 12-1500..... (as info) ... |
idive | There was one on ebay not long ago that sold at $1525. The guy had 3 of them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=46105&item=2420791912 You might be able to contact them for one of the other 2. Ray | I can sympathize with the guy ... I purchased one waaaayyyy back when I first put my deposit down on a 'real' Prowler .. the dealer kept giving me anything and everything that came his way short of the actual car (he was a gouger and I ended up NOT doing business with him). But I actually "optioned" my purple car out with electric start, 5hp engine with torque converter clutch, horn, etc. THEN, after I got the real car and real Prowler was yellow, I had to have the kart painted in PPG to match! When all was said and done, probably had close to $3k or a little more into it. I sold mine in '01 for about $2k as it was still in perfect shape. Just too darn big to store ... if only I had the room ... lol |
