GotMeOne | Hello all - Looking at a 1999 Prowler with 44,000 in need of new rear tires, sellers asking $25,000.... Is this a deal? or are there more options I don't know about? HELP, I have the fever... |
Bob Goetz | Tires will cost you $1200 but at $25,000 if you do not mind the miles it is about as cheap as you will get a Prowler for just check that it does not have a salvage title. |
ALLEY CAT | Wanting - sounds like a good deal. One owner car??? Service records available? Been in any accidents? Did the owners purchase an extended warranty for the car? Any previous problems with the car? Take VIN # to a Mopar service department and run off past service work on the car. Go slow, get all the info, and then decide. Wanting one more also |
CTProwler | Wanting one--There is a 2001 Orange in POA classified. 4000 miles $35000. Its had side panels and other mods that would cost you a lot of money in the long run. You might want to consider it. Find out what the extra money is to borrow per month. Then add up all the mods your planning and see where you come out. $$$$$ JMO ------------------

Top Kat | Wanting, DavidN has a Woodward for sale. It is Beautiful. Not sure what he is asking. See the post above: "Found new trailer or $5025" ( or what ever price was) Scroll down to David's reply and E-mail him. He is a very nice guy. I just bought his trailer. ------------------ 2001 Mulholland Edition 1999 Maroon S-10 shortbed 1994 Silverado Dually (lowered/ custom) 1987 Orange GMC shortbed 30' Scarab w/ twin 500's |
tangled up in BLUE | Since you are asking ....Just my opinion, I would look for one with less miles and pay a few dollars more if necessary....recently I have sold 2 Kats for you to compare with this car you are looking at.....sold a '99 purple with 11K miles for $28K with a set of custom wheels(it was advertised on this board for a couple of months), and a 2001 orange with 26K miles for $27K, both were very nice one owner cars with no damage or repair history..... I am not saying the car you are looking at isn't worth $25K, just that for a few dollars more you might get a newer lower mile car.....take your time and shop wisely... |
Prowlin Doc | If you like the color, and it checks out okay, JUMP ON IT! For 25k I think it is the most beasutiful car you can get (Heck even up to $120,000 I think that). If you are not a taker please tell me the color and forward me their # thanks bob |
JRL | It's not THAT cheap with those miles. JRL |
JRL | I just checked the auction sheets and SEVERAL '99's have been sold recently with various milage. I can get you one with much lower milage and sell it to you for perhaps 26.5 to 27K (With 10,000-15,000 miles) If interested, email me. JRL |
KatAddict | Here is an 02 Yellow with 9K miles...sold for 27K http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6414&item=2427300362 |
PJ | My personal opinion is that our Kats will appreciate in value generally.Like all other classics those with the least miles and best condition will have the highest value. If U are buying it to enjoy it (use it) buy it and don't worry about the future value. PJ |
