George Johnson | Whatever you do don't buy the ones on Ebay...they are Dynamics (POS). Larry Lord sells the front Konis complete. Konis are grey in color. The Dynamics are black. This message has been edited by George Johnson on 07-21-2009 at 09:53 AM |

DON WIEBER | thanks for all the help. will call larry soon. |
DON WIEBER | talked to larry. he said that there is always a little oil that is on the shocks. he said that until they leak out on the floor live with them. now here is a person selling shocks and telling me that i should wait instead of buying his shocks. now i see why other cat owners talk so highly of him. |
George Johnson | Don, My fronts were leaking onto the cross member of the frame, and it was a mess to get it completely cleaned. The left rear was leaking onto the floor of my garage. I have a 2001, which had the Dynamics, and it started leaking at about 3k miles. Your right about Larry Lord...his integrity and honesty is outstanding and great to do business with. |

Just to be clear,,, I said that there is normally a trace amount of oil that will escape from the shaft seals at the top of the shocks. This will sometimes collect dust and can make the leak look worse than it really is. If you see either dry or moist dust, don't worry yet. If you see fluid, it's time fo a change. Don and George, Thank you for your comments. They were appreciated.
