I need to cross reference the Trailer VIN Number with the original trailer color. In other words, I want to find out if the trailer was repainted. Thanks. This is what I recall as well from posts dating wayyyyy back .... maybe do a search? What is the month, day & year of manufacture of the trailer you have??? if it is pre 2002 or (maybe even late 2001)and it's gold, it is likely it might have been repainted since Inca gold was 2002 only. this my not answer your question but helps eliminate other years hope this helps This message has been edited by toys on 12-11-2013 at 07:41 PM Really with just 1,350 (+ or - a few) doubt that the color will affect the value of the trailers since they have been in demand since the beginning. They have held their value or appreciated since they were new. ------------------ toysKONEJ
Does anyone knwo where there is a listing of all the TRAILER VIN numbers?ed monahan Maybe at Ajex. I never heard of a list but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist. JeraneW If my memory serves me right, there were no vin numbers assigned to trailers. StingRay quote:

I bought a 2002 yellow with chrome wheels. stevedymo Refresh your memory...
http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum21/HTML/000024.html ed monahan Here in Ohio we need a plate on a trailer and you need a VIN in order to get a lic. plate. They all have VIN on them, or did at one time. I can't believe they got by with a stick on VIN plate. JeraneW Memory refreshed. When I purchased my Black Tie trailer, the sticker had gone and I got a copy from the MVA. I then applied for a new title and VIN from my own state with the Bill of Sale. Bob made new VIN tags and a great permanent tag which I installed. toys quote:

toysWildCat Seriously doubt there is a list of vin # and color of trailer available
Larry & Sue Mayestoys Wildcat I don't believe There is Vin # to color list either as I own 4 prowler trailers and still have the original certificate of origin for 3 of them and no color is listed for any of them, they were sold as a utility trailer. Skullrodder My trailer came with a "certificate of origin" which had the 17 digit/letter VIN and also had a sticker on the trailer tongue with the VIN. I also purchased a metal VIN plate from Bob and attached it to the frame. Now have a Maryland title with same VIN. Mine is a 1999 Purple.
