MDProwlerI bought this yellow trailer two years ago in what was described as mint condition. It was anything but. I just never had time to mess with it but about a month ago I decided it would be nice to take to Deep Creek this year. So I set about disassembling the entire trailer, painting it orange and correcting everything else that was not right.

Completely disassembled, sanded and primed.

Painted the box orange and painted the inside black

Had the box frame sandblasted to remove the pitting of the aluminum. Then I painted it with three coats of Black Satin Rustoleum. I also wire wheeled and painted the axle.

SkullrodderLooking GOOD Gary! A major change since the maintance days event!
MDProwlerAll the parts were painted seperately and the outside of the lid was painted last after nit was installed on the trailer.

Slowly coming together...

Note the inside of the lid is painted body color instead of gray sealer

Almost finished...

Finished, loaded and hooked to the car. Ready to leave at 9am tomorrow.

Mr.McgooLooks great and the way you do things I am sure it is much better now even if it was perfect when you bought it. But i think you should have painted it silver...

alrtgI agree, Silver looks much better and the paint would have been much less expensive.
ed monahanHe probably did paint it SILVER primer before he finished it to make it look nice. lol
