Ken & Roslin RomainI want to start by thanking Jim Bell for the GREAT job he did putting our day at Irwindale Speedway together. If you were not able to attend, you missed a great time.

Now for the new business.....

1) Dinner at Busters

The Date........Saturday August 4, 2007
The Time........7:00pm till ???
The Place.......Busters Beach House in Long Beach Marina
The event.......A night of GOOD FOOD, GOOD ENTERTAINMENT,
and GOOD FRIENDS.

If this is your first time, Busters is the home of the FLYER BAND. They have been at this location for 28 years, and are one of the best 60-70 Rock and Roll Bands around.
Tod and Nancy Hartman (The Flyers)just happen to be Prowler owners for many years.
If it's not your first time I don't haft to say anything,
you already know how much Fun we have there. If you drive your Prowler, parking will be arranged for you.Dinner will be available in the bar area before the show.
I guarantee a GREAT TIME...

2) Cruisin For A Cure Car Show.

The Date......Saturday, September 22, 2007
The Place.....Orange County Fair Grounds, Costa Mesa, Ca
The Event.....Cruisin For A Cure, For Prostate Cancer
Research.

This is our largest yearly event, It's a MUST. This has been a very rough year for Prowler Owners. Several Cancer related deaths, including Marty Griebe one of own.
Last year over 3400 cars entered this show. It's billed
as the largest one day show in the country. We had almost 30 Prowlers attend last year. Again this year I have made arrangements for Special Prowler Parking in our same spot.
We will be meeting at Starbucks before to caravan over to the show. More info on times later. Please show your support and contribute a donation in Marty's and other
Prowler Owners names who we have lost this last year due to Cancer. Your contributions will collected at the show and presented on stage to the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center in the names of our lost family members. Checks or cash are welcome

Ken & Roslin RomainIf I can get a list of our Prowler Family members who we lost this last year to cancer, I would like to include them in our thoughts when we make our donation to the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center. Last year at the Cruisin for a Cure our group donated several hundred $$ to Prostate Cancer research. This was in the name of Marty Griebe who we lost this last year. Thanks, Ken OC PRWLR
