1st Prowler Ever | I need a good ‘original’ low note horn for my 99 Prowler. NOS ones are showing online, but they’re discontinued and not available. Mine got wet inside and rusted, now it sounds bad. |
BeWare | This appears to have the same part number 4815262 as shown in your picture. http://www.ebay.com/itm/314837113968?fits=Make%3APlymouth&hash=item494dc11c70:g:i-EAAOSw7A9kB2Wl&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwHHMZOngudC2gEdiBDMjNOpNQofdenxrQXYwGxZc66vTqbxak7mJNS5gwAWw7e 67%2BB2Tf%2F50MtNAbCTdiOVb4sy0YJKlLbSIU52jdqQ8iE08Rv%2BDshhC7ggYTSv%2F%2BmHgKA24dz4NV2pMzyerFLxkq7JoSSNL5s6IpGgyypXlELbr8i4Igkd%2B2%2FiAVN72v5OnCj2D%2Bb1vxwjHvp7S7gacyTOkkih%2FdM5E 2M59LZRJrpOZeBP6pjjn6LTa0fEambPsBw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR66YrpzeYg |
1st Prowler Ever | Good eye, I’ll need to check into this one! R. |
padroo | I found this, looks like it may not be a Prowler specific horn. http://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts/mopar-horn~4815262.html |

This one on the right I purchased, and it has the wrong style plug-in. May be for a 1997 only? Odd, since the box shows the part number as on my ‘99 horn bracket, but dated 10-98. I’ll look into the next one listed… But, I did twiddle around with the adjuster screw again, changed the tone somewhat. May leave well enough alone…

ed monahan | Don't forget there were no 98s so they may have been producing the parts in 98 and then changed the design. |
