Welcome aboard. For top maintenance, the best reviews (and my personal favorite) is 303 High Tech Fabric Guard following their Convertible Top Cleaner. If you're mailordering it, suggest you also try their 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's my favorite for the interior, including leather. Have fun. -GRROWL P.S. - If you want to research this further, use the Search Feature for "303" in the "Subject Only", you'll get about 10 hits. If you want to dig deeper, search in "Entire Message" and you'll get about 70 hits. |

Congratulations on your kat purchase! One more bit of advice on the 303. Its great stuff. Just make sure you allow it at least 24 hours to dry after putting it on. Spray a little extra on the seams. Mask your car good with newspapers, and cover the rear window completely. Some use celophane on the window cut to size. I used a piece of cardboard I cut out for it. Once all that is done, it only takes about 5 minutes or less to spray it down. The 303 site has tips on use. ------------------ |

warmncool: Congrats! Keep on having fun with your kat! The 303 is great. Follow idive's tip about covering the car to avoid the over spray. I just used several towels. Another tip I got from this site was to get the top as clean as possible, apply the 303 as directed, THEN LET THE CAR SIT FOR ABOUT 8 HOURS so the 303 will dry thoroughly. Some have not let it dry completely and have had it streak down on the glass if it rained. The warmer the day you apply it the better. ------------------ |
