Whether you have RunFlat tires or not: You carry a tire plugging kit onboard,,,,a small 12V air compressor > maybe?,,,,and have emergency road service/towing on your car insurance coverage. Rarely a problem........ ------------------ POA Lifetime Site Supporter

In the event that your Kat does have to be towed it is critical that you and the tow truck operator know how to tie it down....It's a good idea to make a copy of the instructions and keep them in the car.... http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/019717.html

Welcome & if you ever have to have it towed, make sure they use a flat bed. |

Always tell the tow truck driver in advance as the ramps could be too steep and may need a couple short planks. Don't let them use a chain. I carry tow straps, just in case and fortunately never needed them. Run flats should get you to a nearby tire shop. |

Welcome. Tire plug kit can be bought at Walmart, etc. Carry it along just in case, but a tow in service (AAA,Insurance carrier) is good advice.

Welcome ... everyone has give all the recommended suggestions possible. Check the tires first to see if labeled as run flats or not. Then, if the weather where you lives permits, drive and enjoy! Congrats. |
