Tested: 1997 Plymouth Prowler Here is an old article Car and Driver published back in the day when the Prowler was new. One of the things I noticed is it tells who made the aluminum doors, hood, deck lid and other stamped aluminum parts and I always new the frame was made by Alcoa. It also mentioned the convertible top manufacturer. |

The convertible tops on the 97s are a little higher quality than the later ones, in my opinion. |
