Two goofy guys, new owner and mechanic checking out problems with previously owned (used) supercharged Prowler. OK video if you've never seen underside of your Prowler on a lift. Some problems are well know to us, other not so much. Other than that, they're clueless, but it has funny moments.

They definitely weren't getting the links from Brian Spoons or the window regulator from Tom Mills.. not at those prices! I could have sworn someone had said the engines were out of a Chrysler minivan? They kept saying it's out of a Dodge Intrepid, is that correct? |

The Intrepid R/T had the same 3.5 as the Prowler, but fewer Intrepids were sold with that engine than the 2.7 and 3.2 versions. The 300M had the 3.5 and there are a lot more examples of that than Intrepid R/T's. |

Tomcal Good article. But it says, "John Hurst designed its single-cam-per-head setup with dual valve rocker arm shafts, providing an economical way to get four valves per cylinder. The engine was free wheeling, to avoid damage if the timing/water pump belt broke." So that makes it a non-interference engine??? Contradicts many other statements I've read about the 3.5L. I've owned a Concord and an Interpid both with the 3.2L and had over 200k on both. Never had engine problems and thought they were very reliable. Both cars were available with the 2.7L base engine, which was a terrible engine. This is what most people think of when you mention a Dodge/Chrysler V-6. |

quote: That's typical for Hoovie's channel. He's constantly buying cars and has a huge fan base. The vast majority of his viewers couldn't care less about the Prowler, they just like him and his videos. It helps give the car some more exposure and for the most part he wasn't too harsh in the comments (Chrysler craptastic is a notable exception). Yuri said he would try to reach out to Tyler for me but no word yet. |
