Mike K... Because you have the collection and will to modify your cats, have you thought of adding a scoop to the hood of any of your cats? Just think it would make the cat look really nasty with a hood scoop. |

How about a reverse intake scoop or vented slots in the hood???? |

Maybe an intake scoop on the side, for fresh air! ------------------ |

Need a vent that will pull some of the hotness out of the engine compartment. One on each side. [This message has been edited by Gary C (edited 09-26-2000).] |

Via Computer???????????? |

Meaning...computer rendering showing the prowler with the raised scoop, louvers, to better visualize what it would look like if produced. (Artist conception idea) Figured someone in the group was a computer guru and could whip it up. |

Joe, I've been considering some sort of naca duct on the side panel to get fresh air to the intake of the supercharger. Haven't really thought of a scoop on the hood though. I know Dan Pena is pretty handy with Photoshop. Maybe he can play with some illustrations for us. ------------------ |

OK Dan, sounds like you are the man to photoshop an artist conception (if you have time). My inquiry came out of a recent car show I attended and saw all the hot rod / muscle cars with scoops and thought a hood scoop would make it look nasty and powerful. I like the ideas of side scoop and louvers too.

I had a second to fool around with the below image. If I get a chance later, I will do another, better one.

WOW!!! That is awesome. In that location it should improve the air flow to the radiator, shouldn't it? How about any side vents? Great work Bill, we sure appreciate it. |

William Gallagher Great work! When you do the side scoops have the vents pulling the air out and not blowing air in. With the scoops pulling, it will assist with making the radiator to flow more air thus more cooling. Also you won't have to worry about rain. thanks Good work |

William Gallagher, I like the scoops. I'll play around tonight and see what I can come up with also. Sorry Guys, I'm implementing a new project here at work and is really taking my time. I normally have more time to play around but right now, I got to work for my money. Later.... ------------------ |
