I just got done installing the Mac Motorsports suspension braces in my yellow 99 tonight and took it out for a spin. Here are my impressions: -There is less jumping when going over multiple bumps. -The car is more controlable going into turns with bumps. -Overall, there seems to be less twisting of the frame when driving over bumpy roads. -It will not make a 99 ride as smooth as a 00. In Overview, the feel or smoothness is very subjective. I am anxious to hear other opinions! ------------------ |

Hi Mike, I have installed some braces that I made for my car. I'll e-mail you the pictures. I can really feel the improvement in handling over bumps. It feels much tighter, you have more control. I'm running my tire air pressure at 26 psi cold front & rear rides much better ------------------ |

Nyle, I see your exhaust is not stock? What did you end up doing? Interesting suspension jigs. Are these parts readily available from somewhere? Thanks for the picks Nyle and Mike K.

It's the same system on Mine and George Carters car and also on all of Tony Carlini's cars. |

Mike, why have you not put this on all of your cars? ------------------ |

I took measurements, made a cardboard template of the front braces and had them custom made out of solid aluminum at a machine shop at 1/3 of the cost. I retained the rear braces. The car seems to be a little tighter around turns at a higher rate of speed. |

Jason tells me his rear braces are metal and the factory ones flex, and flex enough you can bend them by hand! He says with his one, JUST with those, you can feel a difference! ------------------ |
