The custom KISS Psyco Circus Prowler and trailer OR The high-voltage Blue one? They are both one off's. Yes, one from the factory and one not but, I think it may have alot of appeal too (to collectors) Who has the KISS car these days anyway? |

Blue. Anyone can paint a kiss unit, but who cares about kiss in 20 years? The electric blue is the last. That's it. You can't duplicate that no matter what. |

Ben: Be careful. You don't want the fury of the KISS Army thrust upon you ! Seriously, I would reluctantly admit that the High Voltage Blue will probably retain more of it's value than the KISS Prowler, the later being a modified black stock Kat. I also might argue that if someone put the time, effort and resources into it, they could come close to duplicating the High Voltage Blue paint - making it and the KISS prowler very similar in that way. I believe the KISS Prowler belongs to the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles. They purchased it for about $139,000. I remember when the original owner, who WON it from the Band, was selling it for $92,000. Kevin ------------------ |

quote: It's not so much the car as the stuff done to it and the memorabilia that comes with it and the history of the car. We all know cars that belonged to celebs seem to go for more then a similar car owned by joe blow. Sure, anybody could do most of those mods but, it wouldn't have the history of that one. The fact is, there is only one of each. |

I also think the High Voltage Blue will be worth more. Also I am pretty sure I am correct on this. The KISS Prowler was a purple Prowler that was painted black. I also know for certain the person who won the car could not afford to pay the taxes on it. Nowell Herman the President of the Official Plymouth Prowler Club purchased it I believe from TGF. He sold it for cash and also trade of another black Prowler. What happened to it after that I do not know. This message has been edited by BeWare on 10-08-2002 at 05:43 PM |

Dear Yellow Fever, Are you really serious? Of course the High Voltage Blue will be worth much more! (No offense, I don't want to anger the KISS a_s army). Give me a break.. the Last Prowler has more production line signatures and special options than KISS bunked bulemic groupies in 1979! XOXO, ------------------ |

quote: The high-voltage blue is a very nice car and does seem to handle a bit different from other Prowlers (thanks for letting me drive it Mike). One is the last made while the other is a celeb car, that is all I am pointing out. I just notice in trade rags that celeb cars seem to garner more (especially if there were strange circumstances around the owner - mobster, suicide, etc.) KISS defintely fits the strange category. |

Historically... a one off end of the production line will hold more value longer then a celebrity vehicle, usually, there are always exceptions. ------------------ |
