Has anyone used Dynamat or another sound dampening material on their Kat to reduce harmonic vibration from the floorboard or other body parts? Doors, Dash, etc, etc… What about heat coming off the floor board? Curious what your experience has been? Thanks ! This message has been edited by Koastal Cat on 08-06-2003 at 09:30 PM |

Had Dynamat put in doors when we put in new sound system. Will floor and behind seats when the rest of the interior is done. It's done what I wanted it to do! |

Hi George, After you have the floor and behind the seat completed let us know your thoughts regarding the effectiveness of decreasing floor vibration and any heat coming off the floor due to the exhaust. Thanks ! |

Dynomat is a sound deadner. Never heard of it being used for a heat shield. There are many other products out there that are much lighter, cheaper and better for heat proofing. JRL |
