Butchcee, In Facts and Stats, the production number grid shows that there were (5) two tone cars made that were used as pilot cars. Therefore they were later destroyed. DQman, they made pilot cars to test out new parts, paint schemes etc. Those cars are totally destroyed after they are tested as some of the parts are not certified. Makes you sick, doesn't it? ------------------ |

Before I bought my prowler, I was into corvetts big time, 55' 58' 63'67' and I know that sometimes cars that were thought to have been destroyed , somehow found their way into later years. Are we 100% sure their gone? |
