I owned a 2000 Prowler, and sold it prematurely due to illness. I would love to know of any Prowlers still on MSO that might be for sale. Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Dave Andrade |

Dave, Glad you pulled out of your illness! Lots of Prowlers on E-Bay, Trader On Line, and a few here in classifieds. I'm not familiar with "MSO". Can you elaborate? |

Check with CJ, I believe she can provide you a list of Prowlers still in dealer's showrooms. |

MSO = Manufacturer's Statement of Origin ... meaning never sold to anyone ... |

We are up at the cottage this weekend and I don't have access to my list. I will be back home sometime on Sunday. Please provide me with your choice of color and I can send you the information. ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

When I was looking to buy a lot of the prowlers that wre shown on MSO the dealers were either using them as their personell vehicles or saving them as investments. The dealers had no intention of selling them. |

Hey Quincy, I see you got an answer for the MSO thing. And thanks for your words of encouragement. I have recurrent prostate cancer, which is a bad thing; but it has gone into remission with Hormone Therapy, which is a good thing, for the time being. And all this fun at 50 years old! For CJ, there are that many Prowlers still on MSO?? The color isn't necesarily that important. Knowing one might be available in the Southeast would be nice. And the reason for looking for a vehicle on MSO is to insure no or extremely low miles. If you had a list, I would run down as many as necessary to see if somebody had one available and for a reasonable price, with the scary word being "reasonable." When I bought mine a two years ago I could have bought a Mulholland for 35K on MSO in VA. Do you think that is a reasonable price for such a request? Thanks, |

Dave, I will sort the list by the Southeast area and we'll go from there. I would say $35 at MSO wasn't a bad deal. I will email you the list. CJ |

Dave, There are lots of low milage Kats out there. I purchased my 99 two years ago off of E-Bay....it only had 2,700 miles on her! Good Luck! Don't limit your self to just 'MSO' vehicles! Life is to short. |

quote: Those are probably dealers who thought they could get $75-100K for them after the bubble burst. Some keep them on the showroom floor with no intention of selling (unless offered sick money) as a draw card. Folks come in to see the prowler and settle on the mini-van for the family! |
