I just listed my KAT for sale and an interested buyer ran a carfax on my vehicle and there was a problem: the odometer reader shows NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE, which made me realize there was an error made by DMV because before I purchased the vehicle I ran a carfax an all was clear. the car had 5675 miles at the time and I've only driven the car around 1500 miles since Nov 04. I have scheduled an appointment for next week so before I face the friendly people at dmv I would like to hear some suggestions, guidance and prayers because here in California they are not that friendly. LoL..

please advice,

Under Title Problems it will say:

Salvage/Junk/Rebuild

Fire/Flood/ Hail Damage/Buyback/Lemon

Not Actual mileage/Exceeds mechanical Limits.

To the right of this is will list the owners of the car and will tell you if there is a problem on any of these categories.

Is this what you are talking about?

the only written statement on the title reads: NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE
